If you really think about all the poisons we subject our body to by simply breathing, eating and drinking every minute of the day it is a miracle that we can live to the age that we do...Sadly I think the argument can be made that it all comes down to profit. Most of the time, the immune system deals with them, and we don't even know we had them.
