B-12 drops

I just found a b-12 supplement in drop form from a store. I was looking for it for a friend who went vegan about two weeks ago who cannot choke down pills. I have heard liquid is better anyway. The brand is NOW Ultra b-12 and one serving, a teaspoon, contains 83,330% (5,000 mcg) of b-12. Now, you only need 6 mcg if I remember right. It has a dropper and I am wondering if anyone else uses this if they just use one drop at a time, as that would surely still provide a few thousand percent of the RDA. Could it be mixed into drinks if she can't stand dropping it under her tongue? And at one drop at a time, would once every fews days be a sufficient dosage? Thanks.
