shawnb222
Awesome! She got rid of dairy. Reason she got acne from it is because of all the pesticides, growth hormones, antibiotics, and millions upon millions of other things thats in milk. Milk is poison. Marcina
It was most likely an intolerance to it, or mild allergy. Alanis lives in Canada doesn't she? There's no antibiotics or growth hormones in Canadian dairy products. It's banned.
Theresaann
according to The China Study, whether dairy is raw or not, hormone and antibiotic free or not, its the casein protein that ultimately is the problem. Lactose can also be a problem for people, but the protein component, casein, causes immune reactions because its not a natural food for humans. But The China Study showed that less than 10% of the diet being comprised of animal protein doesn't seem to trigger this immune-inflammation-in the body. I know I'm preaching to the choir here....thank GOD. An oasis of sanity in a world of ignorant delusion....
Marcina
I'm allergic to casein. Makes me very ill if I eat food tainted with it.
shawnb222
Thats insane because a couple months ago (when I was a vegetarian), I took casein for about 3 or 4 nights in a row just before bed, and I noticed I was feeling sicker and more acne grew on me. Every since I quit dairy as a whole, I've been feeling way better.
