Hi! Newbie in Ann Arbor, MI

Hi everyone! I'm a vegan of several years but new to the forum. It's nice to see so many other health-conscious vegans here!

 

Me: While I've always been dedicated to fitness, I've found it hard to get back in shape over the past few months after a "less invasive" heart surgery. I'm here for tips on how to get back in shape and continue being fit/building in the future. I'm female, 25 years old, 5'6", 140 lbs., eating 5-6 small meals/day (~1800 cals.), drinking about 64 oz. of water daily, with about 20% body fat. I usually do cardio for an hour twice a week and weight-lift 2-3 times a week (several sets with ~15 lbs. free weights). I can't seem to lose any more weight or build more muscle. I'm restricted from heavy weightlifting or any chest/pec exercises for another 6 weeks, but other than that I can do anything. I'd sincerely appreciate your advice/suggestions.
