Guest
Quote: "There is something almost primal about it," writes lapsed vegetarian Tara Austen Weaver, describing her first meat-buying expedition in The Butcher and the Vegetarian. "I haven't actually hunted dinner myself, but I set my sights and claimed the prize I sought." The "primalness" of the meat-eating (or meat-purchasing) experience comes up a lot in these conversion narratives, which inevitably take place at a quaint, family-run butcher shop. WTF.The person that wrote this is so weak it creeps me out.Primal like eating dog shit in the park.Primal like eating children.I think the term "mutant" would suit this woman nicely. She's like the person in a movie that is like a creature, lurking around trying to manipulate people because she is too weak to lead any attack of her own. To quote Dan Quinn:You're a sorry ass mother fucker man, no shit.
