weird experience

You might have strained your shoulder joint. I injured my shoulder and upper back a few years ago. A few weeks ago I was doing supine dumbell bench presses and my left arm and shoulder began to hurt. The pain lasted until my next session. This continued for a few sessions and I have now given up bench presses for the time being. My shoulder is all right now. But, at the time, I sometimes had pain in my triceps, sometimes in my biceps, and sometimes in the shoulder. You might just need to rest until the inflammation - if that is what it is - goes away. Try to do some other exercises to work the same muscles.
