Hero Posted April 3, 2007 Share Posted April 3, 2007 so i have a car i no longer want.i have a co-worker that is 22 and has a little kid that needs a car badly but he doesnt have any money to get a car.so i was talking to him and offered him my car cause he can handle the $214 payments a month.he has a co-signer. is it possible to transfer my loan over to him in his name so he can start making payments?its for about $6,500 i go thru chase bank. can I transfer my loan over to him, so he has the car and makes the payments, and i have no car and no debt in my name? please help. i need to do this within a month and half. Guest Posted April 4, 2007 Share Posted April 4, 2007 I know people who have done this with their kids once they get out of college(they pay while they are in then make them cover the rest). Anyway they had a transfer fee of a couple hundred bucks but that doesn't mean every bank does this(sorry I can't remember what bank it was) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
