New World Vegan
They say to wash raw produce(also your hands) - but with what? I assume water and soap. But that doesn't get rid of things like e coli. I've always rubbed with water. Now, after getting food poisoning and reading about it, I know water isn't enough. So, what do you all use? I read about spraying Hydrogen Peroxide, rinsing, then spraying vinegar and rinsing.(not combining them).http://www.mercola.com/2001/jul/21/vinegar.htmWould you say that's effective enough? Zack
Not sure, it's just what I've always used. My guess is any other vinegar is probably as good.
