  1. http://www.asaltoalruedo.org/boletin/cabecera-boletin-ar-alicant.jpg (Equanimal's second "bullring raid") Hello everyone, Six activists of the Spanish AR org. Equanimal successfully carried out Equanimal's second "bullring raid" past June 22nd. These bullring raids demanding the abolition of bull-killings and advocating for animal rights are being viewed by the media as a new stage in the struggle towards the abolition of bull-killings. You can watch the video at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REgNa-SSlGk&eurl=http://www.asaltoalruedo.org/index.php And you can post a comment supporting the abolition of bull-killings at (on the bottom of the website)_ http://www.asaltoalruedo.org/tu-opinion.php Also, in case you missed out our first bullring raid (which got international media attention) you can watch it at (with English subs): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nXF9fMzkOy8&eurl=http://www.asaltoalruedo.org/index.php Thanks!
  2. http://www.stopcaza.org/accion-anticaza/imagenes/acciones/accion-dima-1.jpg Hi from Spain. Past June 15th Equanimal (http://www.equanimal.org), the AR org I collaborate with, faced thousands of hunters at the 16th "celebration" of Hunters' & Fishermen's Day, on a peaceful demo against hunting. Eight activist burst onto the stage in which a hunting spokesperson was giving a speech holding sings saying " hunting is murder". Hunter's reaction was utterly violent. You can watch the short but intense video and post a comment here: http://www.stopcaza.org/accion-anticaza/tu-opinion.php As hunters were afraid of some AR action on their "celebration" they already had a banner just in case. So while Equanimal's activists were showing our own banners they unfolded theirs, in which they called us "Eco-terrorists" in their incapacity to understand we are animal rights activists. Soon we'll carry out new actions against animal exploitation. Take care friends!
  3. Hahaha. Yeah right I assume the band I linked is too noisy at times... Anyways about the other band you linked... I reckon the singer use to be vegetarian, but I dunno now. I'm pretty sure the rest are omnis.
  4. Thanks Ping. People from that band singing the song you linked are not vegans. They consume animal products and therefore their message misrepresent what AR really means. Take a look at this spanish band: http://profile.myspace.com/justicedepartment Thanks again!
  5. ast May 4th, six activists from the spanish AR org Equanimal http://www.equanimal.org jumped into the bullring (el ruedo) of Las Ventas, in Madrid (one of the most famous in the world), during a "bullfighting" (corrida) avoiding the security staff. The bullkilling was being broadcasted live on TV. We held banners demanding the abolition of bull-killings (in spanish and english). It's been the first time that AR activists perform such an action. http://www.antitaurino.org/imagenes/sub-cabecera.jpg "Equanimal's activists jump into the sand of the bullring. Madrid, May the 4th" You can watch the video (in spanish and english) and post a comment at http://www.antitaurino.org/ We jumped into the sand after the first bull was killed, the staff was preparing "el ruedo" for the next bull. The public attending to the bull-killing got shocked to the bones, shouting angrily against our activists. It took several minutes for the police to come, so one bullfighter himself and some others bull-killing businessmen involved in that particular "corrida" had to jump into the sand also to violently take the signs away from the activists. The activist spent the night in jail, but they´ve been already released, and now they are going to be judged. Media coverage has been nationwide, the news being broadcasted in several nationwide TV and radio channels. Please help us and re-send this news to your e-mail list. Thanks heaps! In solidarity with nh animals, http://www.antitaurino.org/imagenes/antitaurino.gif
