Hello! I recently moved to portland with heartgoes, and am not vegan. more like vegan-curious. I am not opposed to it, it just differs from the culture i was brought up with (hawaii/asian - lots of fish!). I don't use dairy products, and generally use whole/fresh/raw foods. But I am interested in trying out the change and seeing how it works. We recently attended the vegfest and I was very happy with it. We saw you posing in the hall outside of the exhibition hall. I'm already very supportive to my vegangirl - i cook her vegan meals quite often, and encouraged her when she first started. I'm hoping to use a lot of the advice here and get to where I want to be in terms of health. I recently 'quit' the military, and was in pretty good shape. I've gotten stagnant and need a jumpstart.
