Hey! I found this site on google when I was searching for vegan shampoos. I'm currently on a weightloss journey so I figured this forum may help me a lot. I'll introduce myself. My name is Woody (or Elwood, either or) I'm 21, from Tampa, Fl, Straight Edge, play drums in Paranoia Dance Party, and have been vegan since September of 2010. I went vegan with the support of my friends in bands that have vegan members (Fatter than Albert, The Flaming Tsunamis, We Are The Union, etc). I decided to make the switch to better myself and to end my dependency on an industry I won't stand for anymore. Prior to making the switch, I weighed in at over 260 pounds. Now, with the help of exercise and a healthy vegan diet, I'm down to nearly 210. (212.5 at my last weigh in, but with this week's holiday eating I'm not sure that number stayed the same haha) BUT! I'll be back on track, so don't worry. I'm currently working towards getting down to either 200 and then working on weight training to get a more defined physique.. Terrific forum!
