I have been vegan for 8 months now and am planning on doing my first bikini competition in November. My coach is trying to get me to add eggs back into my diet (locally grown) because during my prep it will allow me to drop my carbs more. I was wondering if y'all have any examples of what a low carb day for you would look like? muchidna Posted May 14, 2013 Share Posted May 14, 2013 Hi anna, your best bet for super high protein without carbs would be supplements, pea/rice/hemp protein, i don't think there is anything close to the protein content of egg whites without being processedegg white 90%+ protein calorieswheat gluten/seitan 75%+ protein caloriesprotein supplements 90%+ protein calories i imagine a low carb day for me (i don't really cut carbs) but i would do something likelots of leafy greens, smoothies, mushrooms, broccoli in stir fries etc + seitan and tofu Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
