Ben Saunders VS. John Fitch at UFC 111

Did anyone else catch that Rogan said that Ben Saunders adopted a vegan diet for that fight and feels much better? Not that it really helped him, but he'd never fought anyone as good as Fitch before, not to mention on short notice.

I used to not be able to stand Saunders, but now if he stays vegan, I'll change that tune.

Did not hear that. But I was in a crowded bar, so its not out of the question. Either way, that boy has a bright future ahead of him in MMA. He just got too big for his britches stepping up to Jon Fitch when Thiago got X'd out. Good experience for him though. Although the safe bet would have been for him to stay in his fight against Jake Ellenberger. Lessons learned.

During the intro. I was into it. Its good for him to fight fitch, and even better that he took it to a decision.

I just watched it at pancrase.org but the video was just of the fight.Joe Rogan brought it up though near the end of the first round.Said it helped him cut weight.

I always liked Ben.He loves fighting as much as me.I understand the feeling he has when he looks all crazy.He's just so happy to fight.
