ChadFlea
Hello! I am currently starting to incorporate vegan dishes into my diet.My goal is to gain mass and strength so I need enough protein. I wont accept any product or supplement from sport nutrition shops, I want to go 100% natural. Is there any database that has easy recipes that can be cooked relatively fast, which are not costly andprovide me with a high amount of protein?Having a field-tested cook book with these characteristics would be enormously helpful. Thank you!
Fallen_Horse
I wish! There are a few recipes in some vegan athletic-oriented books. Engine 2 Diet has some higher protein recipes, and I might be wrong but I think Robert's book, Vegan Bodybuilding and Fitness, also has some recipes? Dr. Fuhrman has some higher protein recipes in his books as well, but he goes HEAVY on the vegetables and light on the salt, so you may need to modify those a bit... ChadFlea
Thank you. I am not planning on buying a book, I hope that there are some members that already have a couple of recipes and like to share it with us.
ChadFlea
Are you guys implying that you cover your need for protein by vegan supplements alone? There most be some dishes....
lobsteriffic
You could check out the Vegan Recipes sub-forum. Also the internet has many, many, many recipes online if you don't want to buy a cookbook. Try fatfreevegan.com, vegweb.com, theppk.com, etc.
