Mainly exercise and whole food plant based diet. I think they should have done the supplementation with plant omega 3 source such as hemp or flax seeds not fish oil. So technically not vegan diet. Gaia
Interesting read. I did not get the connection from increased telomerase levels to how the prostrate cancer was affected though. Increased levels of telomerase may be a fountain of youth, but what if the body is already diseased? I will just assumed that the cancer got better somehow because of the telomerase activity level was raised (thus protecting the ends of the DNA strands during replication). Oh great.. No wonder people think vegans eat fish.. GDI. I really wish people would look up the word "vegan" before throwing it around like that.
