nyquil
Hi guys, I'm in the process of switching from a meat oriented diet to this vegan lifestyle. However, i see a lot of people eating things like tempeh, veggie burger, vegetarian bacon, vegetarian hotdogs... and basically things that comes in a plastic package... aren't a lot of these things considered PROCESSED food? what are some things i should stay away from in the vegan world? vege
vegetarian hotdog, vegetarian bacon, margarine, sugary sweets, and soy that is not organictempeh is good! it si not processed food as we know it. It is fermented whole soy beans. Just look for the organic one. Too bad that itis sold in plastic, previously pasteurized. Non-pasteurizes tempeh is said to have vitamin B12
goob
The biggest problem with eating processed food is that it is nutritionally deficient to real whole foods. So, it's fine to have those things just don't make them a cornerstone of your diet. Just watch sodium intake and try to avoid hydrogenated oils.
