Will55
I just made a transition to a Vegetarian Diet. And soon I plan to be a full Vegan diet. The reason my transition isn't immediate is because I have no freaking idea what to buy and how to go all about this. I originally got into a Vegan diet from Dr. Shultze. He has cured every disease and ailment that has been brought to him. On parts of his teaching he concludes to go full Vegan. So anyways here I am! If anyone knows an Ebook or a book I can order that gives high calorie meal plans for vegan bodybuilders please tell me! I want to start off with a 4,000 caloriet diet and work my way up to 5,000+. But I have no freaking idea how to do this on a vegan diet. Please help!

Fallen_Horse
For general nutrition information, you can't beat Becoming Vegan (http://www.amazon.com/Becoming-Vegan-Complete-Adopting-Plant-Based/dp/1570671036 For bodybuilding-specific information, I would recommend Robert's book, Vegan Bodybuilding and Fitness (http://www.amazon.com/Vegan-Bodybuilding-Fitness-Robert-Cheeke/dp/0984391606/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1309923445&sr=1-1) For further motivation that going vegan is good for your health, personally I would go with The China Study (http://www.amazon.com/China-Study-Comprehensive-Nutrition-Implications/dp/1932100660/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1309923503&sr=1-1) Good luck with everything! robert
Welcome to the group! Hope you found some helpful info. I used a pretty high calorie diet, like you described 4000-5000 to go from a 150 lb runner to 195 pound bodybuilder in a few years and started at 120 pounds as a vegan. It worked well for me, has worked well for others, and I wrote a lot about it in my book. This is from a few months ago: All the best with your goals and ambitions!
