xetyk11 Posted August 26, 2011 Share Posted August 26, 2011 Hi all, I currently drink Whey after weight training, I drink whey also in the AM and PM before sleeping. I'd like to remove it from my diet since its the only animal product in my diet. Ive tried searching for other vegan drinks like rice, pea, hemp protein in our area however cant find any. any suggestions what to replace it with? thanks. Odidnetne Posted September 3, 2011 Share Posted September 3, 2011 You can definitely find some online for a fair price, but I find total calories and protein from foods tend to be a lot cheaper anyway. You could always drink water, then a smoothie (with or without protein) after a workout to get hydrated and your glycogen levels back up, then eat a meal afterwards as well.
