crashnburn
I was just wondering what ideas we have here? I was searching and found this. This make any sense? http://www.dummies.com/WileyCDA/DummiesArticle/id-1827.html
AdrienneP
It's too generalized. However, in practical terms this is purely technotalk, and these ratios don't make a big difference when it comes to losing weight and decreasing your body fat. Ratios absolutely make a difference, depending on what workouts you do. If you are doing a lot of cardio, you can eat more fat than someone who only lifts weights. You need a lot of carbs for energy and plenty of protein to make sure yor body doesn't use its own muscle mass for energy. It also depends on the individual. Very overweight people will have ann easier time losing than those who are only a little overweight. Efficient weight loss isn't that simple, unfortunately. There's no "one size fits all" diet. ~ Adrienne

If you are doing a lot of cardio, you can eat more fat than someone who only lifts weights. But do you think they make a big enough difference to be worth considering for non-competitive persons? Is it not enough for most people to stick to the basic, staying on a calorie deficit, eating small meals throughout the day, and making sure to get enough proteins? AdrienneP
Is it not enough for most people to stick to the basic, staying on a calorie deficit, eating small meals throughout the day, and making sure to get enough proteins? Maybe in the beginning, when one first embarks on the "weight loss plan". Eventually there will come a time when just creating a calorie deficit won't be enough. It usually happens to those who struggle with losing those "last 5 or 10". ~ Adrienne

(Anabolic, Catabolic ..etc)?? Ive heard so many varying theories here.. I thought might as well get another one.
