Guest
Robert...you've gotta do what bears do when the hibernate. They eat tons of dry grass and twigs then eat good food in order to clog themselves up so the food they eat turns into useful fuel for longer periods of time. This will ensure you stay heavy...plus you'll save a load of money on TP

robert
Thanks! I'm sooooooooo sleepy! We were up late hanging out, got up early, worked 10 hours no breaks, came home changed, went to the gym for 2 hours, then ate vegan pizza, got home after 10PM and then I did a massage for xdarthveganx's sore back and finally got around to getting online. Here are a couple of more photos from tonight. Great workout! http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/seattle2.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/seattle3.jpg Full Seattle recap with photos of Ravi, xdarthveganx, and I later this week in a new thread. Just wanted to make sure people know I'm back!!!! Matt
Terrific! Are you working different muscle groups roughly once a week or are you doing some acclimation? I read before that you'd do Chest and upper body one day, legs another, abs another, etc. That still roughly the plan?
robert
Yeah, still the plan. One BIG difference. I'm back! I'm dedicated to eating, training, and I'm focused on goals again. I'm doing what I need to do to get results. Training early, training late, eating big, what ever it takes. The biggest difference is consistency. I'm consistent again and pushing it hard when I'm at the gym. It's awesome to see big results in a couple of weeks! Brendan Brazier was a huge influence and has had a big positive impact on me and my bodybuilding. It's nice to be back

robert
Wait until you see some of the photos from tonight! It was one of the most fun times I've had! I'm really chillin out these days and Ravi and xdarthveganx are so much fun to hang out with. Of course tons of you guys are, I feel really happy to have been able to hang out with about 40 of you in person. I've rarely been able to train with many other forum membrs, but tonight Ravi, xdarthveganx, and I crushed it! Crazy photos to come. We're just exhausted. 10-hour busy work days, 2 hours of training, 1-2 hours of high calorie dinner, and lots of laughing and hangout out. It's amazing that I'm "back" so quickly! It has only been like 2 weeks since Brendan Brazier lit a fire under me and motivated me like crazy. I'm really enjoying "bodybuilding" again We're really tired but more photos in the coming days. robert
The team is growing! 1000 calories just before bed. Who knows how many I'm taking in throughout the day, but I'm BACK with my eating too! My stomach doesn't always like it and I seem to produce quite a bit of gas but I've got to grow right now and suffer through the bloating and gas as a I get bigger and stronger. Back in Action lets make it happen!
cubby2112
Wow, that is some good eating there; you should definitely be able to continue growing if you keep that up!
Zack
I ate 2 cans of chickpeas, 1 clifbar, 2 pears, 1 plum, and 1 banana last night and still didn't feel full...

Yeah, I have been having trouble lately feeling full. I upped my caloric intake to around 3k per day a couple weeks ago and I seem to be feeling hungrier than when I did at about 2.5k. I am eating stuff in about the same proportions, maybe a little bit heavier on fruit, as it is one of the few things I can keep in my dorm to eat. The obviousness of not training much over the past year may be one thing, but I definitley think that with all of the eating you do you shouldn't have a problem getting big again. robert
I was the only one at the gym this Easter Sunday Evening doing 45-50 minutes of cardio on a bike and then some abs and lower back exercises for the next 30 minutes. I'm still back and I've got less than 3 weeks until I step up on stage! I'll try to get some updated photos soon. I hope I'm progressing. I'm certainly consistent now at the gym and getting there with nutrition. I'm doing about 3 or 4 half-servings of Vega a day (total about 2 full servings). I'm also trying to eat pretty clean (mostly raw and fresh fruits and veggies). The intensity is also back http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/seattle37.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/seattle38.jpg

robert
Thanks. I actually really LOVE being a bodybuilder again! Seriously. I'm still not that big, but I'm just loving the whole scene again and I'm still "becoming more famous" all the time and it's just something I enjoy a lot right now. Another pic from the Emerald Cup. This woman is becoming a friend of mine. She was 7th of 18 in her class in figure competition the day before this photo over the weekend: http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/emerald6.jpg
robert
I trained for more than 3 hours total today. I should have won my last contest and lost by 1 point or something like that. I just have to improve and keep moving forward. I've got a couple more shots later this year to finish 1st and that is something I'll aim for. It's great to be back
