while Detoxing - exercise or not?

i always hear people saying that while you're detoxing you're suppose to rest and sleep a lot, and avoid putting stress in your body like exercising for instance.

 

but few days ago, somebody said that we ARE suppose to exercise because that'd help the body cleaning out faster..

 

my idea is that perhaps we're suppose to exercise while detoxing, but just a little..

 

well, but i'm not sure.. can anyone tell me which one is the best for detoxification?

I did an 8 day fast and trained right through it. The first three days I rode 50miles each day then the last 4 I rode 35. I felt really good actually. I only took one day off.
