And more good news: the new songs do not fit in with today's 'musical' trend. They sound similar to alot of their old songs.

 

I became a fan when "Roam" "Love Shack" and "Deadbeat Club" hit the radio.

I liked their themes of fun, peace, nature, environment, aliens and space....and only found out 5 years ago that the members are mostly Veg*n.

 

Here's some meaningful lyrics from them:

UPDATE: the B-52's are gonna be on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" April 4. This is cool because Ellen is one of my favorite people. Then she moved up on my list when I found out she had been a vegetarian. But she has enimia, and doctors(and US culture) has her believing she needs some meat.

 

"The Ellen Degeneres Show" is one of my favorites too. She has a great spirit and sense of humor, and often promotes animals and the wellbeing of all.
