  1. I'm going on a trip this summer for about 3 weeks, might not have access to a gym. I'm sure others have been in this situation, what do you do on trips with no access to weights? If people have a good calisthenic routine, mind sharing it..
  2. "Going Heavy" isn't a numbers game. It is pushing it as hard as your muscles will allow. You are allowed to go heavier in pounds when your support muscles are 100%, but I would argue that your main muscle is working less. Do I know this for sure? .. no, can you link me something that says otherwise? And in my experience people who follow your workout style routine don't have the proportions for the physique I would like to attain. Usually the arms for one do look small compared there tree trunk body.
  3. thanks for the quick answer. Good to have someone confirm it, don't want to develop a bad habit
  4. On my Bi/back day I do 3 exercises of Biceps than 3-4 exercises of back. I do the Bi first to make sure i don't over compensate with Bi's on the back exercises, so I'm concentrating more on the back. I do the same thing with the Tri/Chest day too, i work the Triceps than the Chest. I have been seeing gains in all 4 muscles, but i have been only working out for about 2-3 months so I am no where near plateauing anyways. So the question is, Is that how it actually works? when the support muscle is weaker the main muscle works harder?
  5. How do you know when your muscle is recovered from working it out? Because it seems some routines i read about only hit a specific muscle once a week. After 2-3 days of resting a certain muscle i am usually back to feeling normal, so waiting 7 days seems overdoing it.
  6. Hey, I'm Brian. I'm 23 and been Vegan for over 2 years and Vegetarian just over a year before turning vegan. I'm at college and have plenty of free time so been starting to fill it up with the gym. I've already lurked this site for about a month to get a bunch of information about what to eat to bulk and sample routines. Finally decided I might as well register =P Hope to contribute to something to this forum.
