  1. Climate change, and the relentless destruction of natural habitats for the expansion of animal agriculture, are driving the world’s wildlife to the brink of extinction. If you weighed all the mammals on earth, 60 per cent of that biomass would be livestock for meat and dairy, we humans make up 36 per cent and wild mammals make a up a tiny four per cent! The UN says that one million animal and plant species are now at risk of extinction and natural ecosystems are degrading at a rate unprecedented in human history. We are experiencing the worlds’ sixth mass extinction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN7JMuv-o9I&list=PLgLIt9SvQ9J87d3Il4FlFih

There is – going vegan!
  3. If we all went vegan, the world's food-related emissions would drop by 70% by 2050 according to a recent report on food and climate in the journal Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences (PNAS). The study's authors from Oxford University put the economic value of these emissions savings at around £440 billion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN7JMuv-o9I
  4. A worldwide switch to diets that rely more on fruits and vegetables, and less on meat, dairy and eggs, could reduce greenhouse gas emissions by two thirds, save up to 8 million lives, and save $1.5 trillion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mN7JMuv-o9I
