  1. I've been using the iPod touch/iPhone Nike running app and it's incredible. There are others like it, but it give you a complete GPS-drawn map of where you were + all you mentioned above, Robert. Unbelievable stuff, even though I want to keep as few EM signals close to my body as possible...
  2. Hi Mike, I'd also recommend checking books like Dr. John McDougall's The Starch Solution and Dr. Doug Graham's 80/10/10. Those were influential for me and based on scientific studies and/or years of practical application. I'd say that there is no perfect "carb, protein and fat distribution" for any one person, but generally I like the 80/10/10 distribution as an endurance athlete myself. Good luck! -Matt
  3. Hi all, I'm back after a few years away from VBB forums! I've been vegan for a while (9 months) now after going on and off for a number of years. I'd like to give tips to others here who are having a difficult time transitioning due to the food seduction thing as I've been through that deal and fought with it a bit. I'm running, hiking and cycling for fitness and do bodyweight resistance training for strength, may head to the gym again. Love animals and focused lately on finding alternatives to fossil fuels. Married to a vegetarian and my kids eat a vegetarian diet. I eat primarily whole foods with the occasional processed food item, lots of fruit and greens. Anyway, cool to be here!
