dontxhide
Does anyone have daily affirmations you read to yourself? When I wake up I have 8 that I read to myself that I wrote and another 6 that Bruce Lee wrote. Then while eating breakfast I go through my goals that I strive for in life. I find that when I dont do this, I weaken on certain things and get down on myself for doing it. It also helps me focus and find ways to accomplish my goals as quick as possible. beforewisdom
Yep. I got mine from A Guide To Rational Living by Dr. Albert Ellis. Dr. Albert Ellis invented cognitive therapy which is partially about helping people to lead better lives by having them dispute their irrational beliefs and replace them with rational beliefs based on reality. Cognitive therapy has been proven effective in over 200 studies and it has been clinically proven to be more effective then many mental health drugs. At the end of A Guide To Rational Living Dr. Ellis lists some core rational beliefs that he suggest that people proactively remind themselves of daily.
