As far as traveling as a vegan I think it is wonderful that most convenience stores, even rest stops along the North East corridor now have at least one type of Cliff Bar. When I went to New York in June I forgot my lunch for the trip up and those things got me through.

 

When I go by car a small cooler, whole wheat pita bread, canned beans, fruit, lettuce & sprouts usually get me through along with local Chinese restaurants.
