some vegan progress (pics)

so i am about three weeks out from a big jiu jitsu tournament and i have been training for it completely vegan as far as diet goes. I am feeling really good and so far it doesn't seem like i will have any problems making weight.

 

the night before the tournament i have to weigh in at 139.9. this morning i woke up at 146 and dont plan on going any lower than 144 because i lose 4lbs of water in an average workout so that is the maximum amount of water i will cut as far as dehydration techniques go.

 

i just finished reading the thrive diet so i am incorporating a lot of those principles into how i eat. i feel really strong and have a lot of energy, so it seems that all is going well and my body is adjusting nicely.

after this tournament is over i plan on moving up a weight class to compete at 149.9 so i want to bulk up to around 155-160 and really fill into my frame.
