RobotechXB9R
I did some searching and can see some people talking about it on the forums, but are these drinks really vegan? I am interested because I can't make a smoothly in the morning for breakfast cause I don't want to wake me sleeping baby. This would be far better. Linanil
why not make a smoothie some other time and store it in the fridge? It'd probably be fresher than a naked juice. And it looks like some of their juices are vegan but some aren't. For their protein ones, they use whey (dairy) protein.
chrisjs
The vanilla chai protein one is vegan, the other protein ones are not. EDIT: Sorry I was thinking of the Bolthouse Farms juices. Edited April 20, 2011 by chrisjs
RobotechXB9R
True. Thanks for the tips. I just worry about making some and it spoiling. I know green juices are know for this and guess I though fruit smoothies were the same.
Linanil
If you make something a day ahead, it should be fine. Just shake it/stir it before you drink it and there you go.
Fallen_Horse
If there are a few flavors you like then I have some knockoff recipes for some of them...
vegdad
They won't spoil. I have young kids as well. I work shifts and when I'm up at 5am for my day shift I'd get killed for running my blender or juicer so I make them the night before. No problems with it spoiling. As far as the actual nutrients starting to go away I don't know but I figure it's gotta be better than what I used to eat.
