Mini Forklift
I'm lucky that NZ has such a great selection of beers and top notch breweries. I could never go back to drinking ordinary lager again!

Mini Forklift
Haha that's actually a good question, and off the top of my head I can't remember exactly. I know with wine it's usually fish and/or egg that's the culprit.
Cellar Yeti
WHY WOULD YOU PUT FISH AND EGGS IN WINE? IT'S MADE FROM GRAPES OR IN PRISON KOOL AID, YEAST AND BROKEN DREAMS.
vegan_rossco
No eggs I don't think, in beer it's normally fish guts which are used in the filtration process, very rare though. Only a handful of beers use this system. Also with wine I think silk is used sometimes. I used to work in a supermarket on the alcohol aisle and would often read the labels out of curiosity. Will have to have a look at that, I could well be wrong. Cheers for the info Ross MF.
AndiMorris
Isinglass is the main culprit for beers and wines. It's a fining agent made from the swim bladder of a fish that helps clear the liquid.
