Bloom
I understand that in order to supply your body with all 8 essential amino acids you need to mix your proteins. So far I know that LSA, linseeds, sunflower seeds and Almonds missed together provide a full protein and do does the combination of Brazil nuts, cashews and almonds. do anyone know of any other good combinations? FormicaLinoleum
It's not true that you have to mix protein sources. Check out this thread: viewtopic.php?t=3349 There's good info on proteins in it, including an informative post by 9nines about "incomplete" proteins. Matt
Hemp and quinoa have more complete protein profiles. I always try to mix proteins and mix plenty of legumes and whole grains. I've really been into pasta again lately, and combinations with these kinds of foods has really helped my recovery and keep my energy up. Another "complete" protein supplement to try would be protein powder; just be sure it's vegan!
willpeavy
One of my favorite complete amino acid combinations is: a bowl of oatmeal, a glass of soymilk, and a burrito with kidney beans
