K-oz
I am just watching King of Queens and Spence is saving money for calf implants, so I went online for a little search. This is so crazy:http://www.polytechsilimed.info/cms/front_content.php?idcat=62&lang=1idcat=62&lang=1http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/ronharris8.htmhttp://www.yestheyrefake.net/calfimplant/caimp4.jpghttp://www.bodyimplants.com/calf_implants.html And why train your biceps:http://www.bodyimplants.com/bicep_tricep_implants.html The most commen implants are: breast, glutes, arms (but mostly biceps)But what about the forearm?Didn't find something similar to the above. Only this:http://www.strangecosmos.com/content/item/115319.htmlthis is so crazyhttp://www.strangecosmos.com/content/item/115314.html And somthing else I found coincidencial:http://www.forrestyoga.com/AsanaGallery/asanas/arm_balances/Forearm-Balance_Straddle.jpg I am too much online to avoid working on my researchpaper
_raVen_
Well, I am generally not anti-implants because it's none of my business what adults choose to do with their own bodies; however, not including personal esteem issues, I believe the reasons for and -- to me, of most concern -- the resulting issues of such surgeries may be problematic (unreasonable societal pressures; furtherance of desires for unrealistic aesthetics; sexism --both ways; furthering a patriarchal society). I stated here in another thread about breast augmentation the same thing -- I have no problems with it in certain contexts, contexts in which it does not harm women, society in general. As far as implanting "muscle," I think, if it is in lieu of exercise, then it is a negative thing. Penile implants and drugs for erectile dysfunction have increased in the past 10 years, which, to me is a good example of societal pressure placed on men. I, personally, think it's sad and, generally, a negative thing; but, again, there are contexts in which this may help a person.
K-oz
but, again, there are contexts in which this may help a person. Very true! In some cases it is more than important,.It's just, that it's calves. I only knew bodybuilder who where interested in that muscle group to look good, so I am surpised, that there seems to be such a demand for those implants, that it is worth it and that was really new to me. They seem to be one muscle group that is very much determined by genetics. I have huge calves (and could be a donor!) and I don't even work them in isolation (when I had thinner thighs, my calves and thighs were about the same size!). I've also seen men with huge upper bodies, well-developed thighs....and tiny little calves. There was a show on about plastic surgery mishaps, and one of them was a man wanting pec implants, but getting women's breast implants instead (needless to say, the 'surgeon' was a bargain-basement, chop-job not-even-a-real-doctor). _raVen_
Yea, calf implants Can these people actually compete with those implants?? It seems to me that would be unfair/cheating, no? Do they do any sort of screening? It would be a shame if they had such an unfair advantage. Anyone know? Ive also seen men with huge upper bodies, well-developed thighs....and tiny little calves. I think that kind of unevenness bothers me, personally. I mean as far as myself, I wouldn't want to look so uneven. Out of proportion can look worse than not being in shape. Plus, I don't care for stockiness, which is how a huge (muscle-bound) upper bod and skinny lower can look.
Tigress
My breast implants were the best thing I ever brought. Apparently the new implant to have for women in Butt implants - I wont be buying a new butt lol
Crash
I generally don't care if peope get implants or not (unless it's face whiskers, but hey it's their choice), but I do believe that butt implants are unsafe as there is a big risk of the implants shifting. If one is really concerned about their derriere, I believe that Fredrik's has some (ahem) enhancing wear.
Tigress
I imagine it to be really weird sitting on them !! My butt is big enough, it doesn't need any enhancement !

Kathryn
I do believe that butt implants are unsafe as there is a big risk of the implants shifting. I'm no butt implant expert, but wouldn't there be a risk of rupturing? I mean, one puts a lot of pressure on them every day just sitting. But maybe they (and breast implants) could be used as a flotation device as well ("ladies and gentlemen, in the event of a water crash, please grab on to the nearest implanted passenger and use them as a flotation device.") Right... If you want to quote someone, say me, then click on the "quote" button on the right side of MY post. It will then take you to my post. If you want to cut it like I did to yours above, then, where you want to end the quote, add by typing it manually. And if it's only that little part, then just erase the parts of my post you are disregarding. Be sure to add at the beginning of anything additional you wish to quote, manually, like this: blah, blah, blah...
...raVen's continuous rambling.
but don't use spaces after the "e" in quote as I did. Did that make sense?

Guest
I think its aok so long as you get implants everywhere...symetry is very important...you don't want your fingermuscles to be really small if your quads are very large...which reminds me...I've gotta get some things worked on...my problem is that my arms don't match my jaw muscles
