pelicanAndrew
I'm going to the library tonight to get some Noam Chomsky books and i was wondering if there are any must see foreing/independent films or even major films i need to see. I'm thinking last samurai if i can get it at the lieberry.

pelicanAndrew
I hear it has a real manly crying moment at the end. I might be down for some manly crying tonight. But not like Requiem for a Dream where i was bawling. What a horribly depressing movie. And Jennifer Connely is so hot.
Richard
I haven't seen RFAD. I think I cried a bit at Last Samurai, I can't remember too well. Certainly quite emotional in places.
SeaSiren
Not had a movie make me cry. Maybe just not watching the right ones?

pelicanAndrew
Watch Requiem For A Dream. Even if you're in a good mood, bammo waterworks.
veganmadre
Not had a movie make me cry. Maybe just not watching the right ones? I'm the opposite. EVERY movie makes me cry. I cry because the movie is sad/depressing. I cry because it's chick-flicky happy. I cry tears of joy for having made it to the end without falling asleep. I cry because I wasted 2 hours of my night.
