No insult intended to you or andesumma, but I think the both of you are spreading a wrong and dangerous impression with your opinion.

can you please tell me what impression I am speading (in your words) because I feel like what I wrote is really being twisted by both you and WL.

I expressed an opinion about the irony of our reaction to the lead toy issue. That's dangerous....?

I expressed an opinion that I am concerned about the use of a mercury containing vaccine preservative knowing that mercury compounds can be as toxic as lead (elemental mercury is more toxic than elemental lead). That's dangerous.....?

I expressed an opinion that I agree with the gist of the article. I guess that was dangerous since it left it up to you all to decide what I thought "the gist" was. My bad....the gist = look at our exposure to potentially harmful substances on all fronts: the toys we play with, the food we eat, the liquids we drink, etc..... Is that dangerous?

This is the stupidest thing I have ever read. Sorry to be rude but I feel it has to be said. Saying lead is less dangerous then anything on that list is promoting dangerous mis-information.

What I got out of the original article was that it is ironic that we panic about the possibility of lead in our children's toys (which may get into their bodies) but we eagerly feed them other 'poisons'. I totally agree with the gist of this article.

What are you trying to say? It's ironic that parents protect their kids from lead but not from medicine?

Yes it is ! because what you call medecine is in fact poisonous. And this so called medecine always enters the body. Toys are toys, but if kids eat those toys then it's poison. But there's more people taking medecine than people eating toys, right ?

Scientists that analyse human tissue find a long list of alarmous quantities of thousands and thousands of dangerous substances, toxic chemical products that would normally be used to kill rats, but that's in our bodies. Many of thoses substances didn't even exist some years ago and can't be found in nature. Those things are found in what we eat, breathe, touch, and are found in dangerous amounts (causing cancers and many degenerative illness) in adults, kids, even in umbilical cords, so in the unborn babies.

Studies have been made. The size of humans have been in constant increase in the last century. So in general people are taller (and larger, bigger, more fat, but that's another story). BUT, there is only ONE organ that the size decreased instead of increasing and it started in the last decades. Its the testicles. Men have smaller and smaller sexual organs after each generations.

So scientists have been mesuring the size of reproductive organs of male baby crocodiles that live in rivers polluted by toxic flows (same products found in human tissue and cells) and thoses penises are so miniature (1 mm long compared to near 1 inch for crocodiles living in healthy rivers) that they can't even reproduce! So the crocodile population decrease. Samething with other animals...including humans. No wonder Viagra and stuff sells a lot... and the products that cause these kind of problems are even found in the pills that are supposed to correct the problem! That's modern medecine.

Seriously though I'm saying nothing on the list of 20 things is bad, what I'm saying is claiming they are most dangerous then lead is untrue. If I drink sports drinks every day the neon coloring won't kill me(at least not anytime soon), if it was lead I wouldn't be too lasting long.

Anyways I'm not going to convince any of you but I think it's important that these posts aren't one sided. Wouldn't want lurkers to think were all crazy...*drink soda while writing this*

I highly doubt this is true. Our primates have relatively small wieners compared to humans...I can imagine they've only grown since. Humans are very judgmental and are working towards small wiener cleansing...small wieners don't get as much use and eventually they'll die...leaving above average wieners as the new small wiener.

The article begins explaining that they are comparing it to toys which have lead paint on them. I don't think the article is saying that eating a big bar of lead is less dangerous than these other things, the title is just an exaggeration / sensationalism. It's just saying that these things are a danger which a lot of people don't realise. I don't know if it's true or not, I don't know the sources.

ahah I like the last phrase: "small wieners don't get as much use and eventually they'll die...leaving above average wieners as the new small wiener."

I know our ancestors had smaller sexual organs when they were almost apes. Then the size never stopped increasing... until recently... things took a reverse direction since only about 30 years ago (I think, it was a documentary on tv, I taped it if someone wants a copy, but it's in French lol), size decreasing, but especially the efficiency. If you observe on microscope the sperm of a 20 years old guy, all the spermatozoids look tired, they almost don't move, and they're very few. Compared to an old person in good health, the spermatozoids are like ten times more and they move everywhere quickly.

Trust me...gorillas have small wieners. You don't have any reason to believe otherwise unless you don't like evidence...try to find a big primate wiener...you'll fail.

This says a gorillas erect penis is only 4cm long

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penis

Or you can look here

http://news.softpedia.com/news/The-Largest-Penis-in-the-World-43756.shtml

As for the relationship between penis size and fertility there is no relation at all. Elephants have very large members and don't produce many offspring at all...in fact it may be opposite. People with very large penis' tend to run into more erectile dysfunction than those with small members...after all its all about blood flow...its easy to have good blood flow to a small wiener but maybe not a foot long wiener. Since human penis isn't made of bone we cannot determine penis length of older humans...but this evidence is a safe bet that this isn't happening.

What a conversation

hmm, I'm not sure if you understood what I was trying to explain. Sometimes it's hard for me to explain cauz it's not my mother tongue... I'm not talking about elephants and not even about our primates. Each animal have it's own "normal" size of dick, if it's 4cm for healthy gorillas, then maybe it is 1cm for gorillas that would be exposed for many generations to the same chemical products we've been exposing ourself since many years. I'm just saying human body and all it's organs (including weiners) always have been increasing in size since humans started to walk on his feet. But since less than half a century, only one organ stopped to continue on increasing size. On the contrary, it started decreasing size.

In the documentary I'm talking about, they show a study that involved a team of over 20 scientists all looking through huge hospital books all day long for 2 weeks for archives of all the autopsies that have been made in the country in the last century. In those archives, the sizes of all organs of every autopsy is mesured and noted. Each scientist copy the size of human penises of people that died during the last 100 years. After collecting all those infos together, they made a graphic that represent the sizes of people's weiners during the last century until today. The line always goes up for many years, which is normal, then the line begins going straight and stabilizes before going down and down. It's just that those poisonous products have a side effect on a certain thing in the DNA that controls the size of sexual organs and also the quality of sperm and health of spermatozoons of all living creatures.

I don't know about this...every other part we have grows...but our wieners shrink??? Why is this poison so selective???

I don't know -- It's like that. But it's more probable than if it would affect the whole body, like a giant tumor or shrinking every single organs and cells of the body.

But at same time it's not like if reducing the size of the male sexual organ is the ONLY symptom. There's perhaps many others but there's almost no way of proving what is the cause. Like all the cancers and other illness.
