  1. Sometimes visiting another country can play havoc with your tummy different food, water etc. can lead to constipation which in your case felt like returning to normal. If your problem has returned i suggest visiting your gp. You could have irritable bowel syndrome or maybe its just an intolerance to something in your diet, either way the doc will help.
  2. The main things that i've read, heard, that stick with me regarding yoga are: If you're alive, you can do yoga. Don't conform to the pose, let the pose conform to you. Let the pose come to you. You are never too old, never too sick, never too bad, never too late to do Yoga. Wherever you are, just be there. If you don't ever fall or lose your balance, you're not doing Yoga. yes, you may do yoga for the physical aspect, but some amazing things may happen when you step off the mat or come out of the pose and back into your life... as for your question, there are some poses i enjoy because they come easily to me like plank, bridge, cobra, and tree but i have to say the ones that are more challenging like downward dog, back bends, and shoulder stands are really rewarding, as well.
  3. Beware of the amino acids they add to the things! Despite the common misconception that they use 'synthetic' amino acids that does NOT mean their from a vegetarian source material. Red Bull is an excellent case in point. They state the Taurine in their product is synthetic, if it was truly of non-animal origin they'd say their taurine is sourced from glucose fed bacteria. More than 90% of commercial taurine is synthesized from slaughterhouse waste products. There are two companies that make bacterial taurine as a specialty product and due to cost it's almost entirely used in vegan cat food and a few medicines!
  4. I have something called "cough-variant asthma." Basically I start coughing when exposed to dust and pollen, and also get a lingering cough after a cold. The doctor prescribed an inhaler (at first Advair, then Pulmicort) to use every day, and it still did not get rid of my symptoms. To make a long story short, allergies and asthma are not very well understood, and you end up taking medicines that are not without side effects. I have started using non-traditional techniques (in particular, Reiki, look it up) in addition to my inhalers, and the results have been amazing -- my persistent cough, which was only relieved by the inhalers, is now gone! Some people do grow out of asthma, and it is my recommendation to try Reiki, or other non-traditional techniques in addition to your medication.
