Thanks for the tip, Shawn. I think you'll find that a lot of the questions you have about protein have been answered in other parts of this forum. A search might turn up some good results. There are plenty of foods that are high in protein, aside from just the powered stuff.
As far as 'switching' to become Vegan. Don't feel like you have to do it right away. I think for me it was more of a gradual transition, and it still is some extent.
Welcome.

I recommend doing aerobic cardiovascular exercise 5-6 days a week. 20 minutes as a minimum for each day you do it. I am not an expert, by any means. That's just where I would start.

Fantastic work man! You have a perfect frame to put muscle on, looks great!

Legumes of most varieties (bagged or canned) are pretty high protein and relatively inexpensive. I am sure others will have some good ideas too.

Great thread Rainra. Your progress and determination is an inspiration! Keep it up man!

Welcome to Massachusetts! If you haven't already gotten it.
You're gonna love Boston!

Hi,
I actually have relatives in your state. Though I'm sure it doesn't tell much really, just wanted to add. What I came here to tell you is that "Welcome" and I hope you'll keep posting and stay active - in real life as in online.
Glad to have you here.
That's funny, my last name is Finnish, and I likely have distant family living there.
Thanks for the warm welcomes, everyone!

Using a 3rd order polynomial fit to a chart of 12 data points taken at equal intervals starting at the beginning and coming closest to the present using the equal intervals I was able to predict a completion date. Around May of next year we should have 1,000,000. I am not a statistician so there is likely great uncertainty behind the prediction.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I haven't been the Boston Vegetarian festival before but I have heard good things. Maybe this coming one will be the first.

Hi, I am Chris. I am 24 and live in Massachusetts, USA. I have been veg for about a year and vegan for about 6 months. My interest in fitness started about 4 or 5 years ago when I dropped a lot of body fat and began being aware of my health. I joined because I have had a recent interest in more than just fitness, but also physique and thought it would be a step in the right direction.
As a recent college graduate I am remembering what it's like to have free time again. I love spending time in the gym and love seeing results and I came here to hopefully get some more tips and pointers from others.

Wow, that's an amazing accomplishment to have taken yourself this far in such a relatively short timeframe. Nice work!
