robert
Hey, we're back to the contests! This is for shoulders. Give us your best shoulder pics...of your traps and delts and show us what you've got. Rules like usual: -You have a full week to submit photos and then we'll separate the men and women and open up polls for a week of voting. The winners get featured on our main website and get free t-shirts. -The photos must have been taken within the past 4 weeks (basically within 30 days), so only current photos please. -You don't have to show full body, but please allow us to verify that the photo is you, just as in all the contests. -No editing of the photos is allowed, aside from cropping, but no photoshop or enhancements. -It doesn't matter if you are cold or pumped up, but the pumped up photos will get the best results, get the most votes, and best represent Vegan Bodybuilding to the general public when they visit the front of our website. -You must submit a photo or two or three within a week, so by next Monday, July 14th. Thanks and have fun!
tuc
Can you give examples of how to pose so that my puny shoulders would look like something?

tuc
Until I find better poses this will be my contest pic. http://i282.photobucket.com/albums/kk250/tuc_finland/DSC04434-crop.jpg Don't mind the unusually annoying face expression. It was almost on purpose... but I still want to know how to pose those shoulders and take better pics after that.

robert
Nice! Photos can be from the side, front, etc. This is an old shot but an example of front delts: http://photos-d.ak.facebook.com/photos-ak-sf2p/v168/219/57/1056650054/n1056650054_13019_4874.jpg You can also focus on Traps too (part of shoulders/back): http://a958.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/42/l_b245f139941de8c42f9761c03991ff0d.jpg But get it from a straight on angle so it's easier to see. Anyway, great start so far! Focus on side, front and rear delts and traps. Look forward to it! Tuc, your avatar is a good example of a nice shoulder shot. robert
Can you give examples of how to pose so that my puny shoulders would look like something? Yeah....do THIS pose (like in your avatar): http://forum.bodybuilding.com/photo/data/2/medium/76707dj_rc2001a.jpg From the side, front and back are fine too, but this pose shows off delts, traps and overall shoulder shape and definition. Lean and Green
unfortunately my stupid shoulder has been injured and i have not trained my upper body in a month which SUCKS! But for the love of the game, I will take pics tomorrow and enter; I can at least pump up my left shoulder somewhat. My june 17th pics are from less than 30 days ago but i'd rather post where i'm at right now, it's only right. Even though I really don't want to photograph until the end of this feast in 8 days, I want to enter every comp. So pardon the flat look in advance! Losing 20lbs and not being able to train upper body is kinda beat, august ftw I hope......

Endy
I'm a little uneasy about posting pictures and any identifying information of myself online -- I like to block out my face for anything I post that's available in public. Is it alright if I submit an entry with my face blocked, but send the exact same photo with my face to Robert for verification of my identity? robert
yeah, that is fine....we just like to know it's a real person, not someone from the magazines cool. All the best!

robert
sweet photo dude! Nice chatting with you on the phone today too. I really look forward to training together! You are shredded and HUGE! Awesome! I think you're our champion for nearly every contest so far....you're reigning down on us! See you soon.
Octopussoir
OT, how many calories are you putting away octo? Not sure, some days it seems like its thousands and some days not so many. Starting this weekend I think I will drink nothing but blended fruit w/protein powder and eat some greens for a few days to get my shred on for next week. I feel lately I have gotten bigger but am sacrificing a little bit of definition. Sundays I usually eat maybe one meal and a snack because I dont do much and I dont wanna sit around eating... thats not how I roll. So at the highest maybe 3K Id guess. Lean and Green
I almost didn't want to enter as I don't want to take any shots until my progress results next week from my latest weight loss extravaganza. But I wanted to compete in every competition and there was no way I would back down and not fulfill that. PLEASE NOTE: I was not able to train my entire upper body (and am still not) for the past 24 days due to a secondary rotator cuff impingement/injury. The damn thing still wont heal So what I did was pump up my good arm a bit in the gym and snapped shots of it as best as possible. I hate that my upper body has not been trained for 3 1/2 weeks but what can I do? Hopefully it's over within the next 3 weeks or I will have a major issue in trying to compete this october; it will have to be set back some. I could have technically entered my june 17th shoulder shots as they are within 30day range but it does not represent where i'm at right now so what good is that? Well here goes..... http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r97/jackbklyn01/P7090077.jpghttp://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r97/jackbklyn01/P7090078.jpghttp://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r97/jackbklyn01/P7090080.jpg

tuc
Superb pics so far! L&G looks really tight, and so does Octopussoir (that shoulder is the size of a bowling ball)! I think I have to try to take a similar pic as L&G's third pic since his shoulder looks great from that angle! Some day I will be as cut. Until then, BTW, nice to have a new contestant, joninvegaz, to join the competitions!
