What Is Missing????

Recommended Posts

I recently became a strict vegan (like 2 months), and now I am moving towards raw/whole/organic side.

Here is what I eat daily:

- Lots of veggies (carrots, brocolli, tomatoes, lettuce, etc)

- Lots of fruits (bananas, apples, peaches, strawberries, etc)

- 2-3 small pieces of whole wheat bread

- 6-8 bottles of pure clean water

I refuse to take protein powders, dirty supplements, canned foods, or any of that stuff. I am happy with where I am at.

People keep warning me that by doing this diet I am going to miss out on calcium, protein, and other vitamins - WHAT DO YOU THINK IS ANYTHING MISSING?

Well, if you're eating a lot of fruit and vegetables every day, I think you'll be getting a lot of nutrients especially if you eat a variety. I can't tell from what you've said, but number of calories is important to take into consideration, but if you're eating enough to feel fine through the day and not get tired, from activity, I don't see a problem? It also depends on your goals really, in terms of how you're trying to alter your body, or if you want to maintain etc

Thanks for the replies everyone...

I will check out that link.

I feel more energy then I ever have in my life!

I went from needing like 12 hours sleep per night to 5 hours sleep per night.

I went from being tired and lazy all day, to going to the gym and running.

I love being a vegan

Oh happy happy Vegan, How joyful a raw vegan diet can be.

I wouldn't want to say I'm a strict raw vegan.

Why say strict. That doesn't sound too enjoyable

It sounds as if you're question yourself about this.

Is this what people have told you about becoming vegan? or raw?

Fill you fridge with as much fresh produce as possible. With your favorite foods.

And still by your other favorite stuff that you enjoy eating. So that way you won't feel like you're

restricting away from your favorite cooked foods and your social life.

Have fun with creating new things.

Buy raw cook books, a blender, knifes, and a cutting board
