Hey all!! I am new to this website and hope to find many new vegan friends. I am going to compete in my very first all natural bodybuilding contest April 11th and was wondering if any of you awesome people have any suggestions or advice. Right now I am training heavy three days a week with three days of cardio and one day of rest. I am confused about how to go about with my vegan diet. HELP!! Did I also mention that I am 40 years old and that I want to show people that you can be vegan, over 40 and fabulous?!! Thanks so much for your help.

Rxcellent to have you hear; swonderful to hear of what you're doing this upcoming year; start a blog, ask away, etc, etc.

 

Restricting calories is the main thing with any leaning out phase, especially a bbing comp one whee you want to get really lean. Just don't forget to take in adequate protein supplementation when doing so to maximize the prevention of muscle tissue wasting
