I am going to compete in my very first all natural bodybuilding contest April 11th and was wondering if any of you awesome people have any suggestions or advice. Right now I am training heavy three days a week with three days of cardio and one day of rest. I am confused about how to go about with my vegan diet. HELP!! Did I also mention that I am 40 years old and that I want to show people that you can be vegan, over 40 and fabulous?!! Thanks so much for your help. I think we have 3 or 4 female vegan competitors over 40 on this forum as well as other competitors of a variety of ages and multiple genders. Welcome to the community! All the best! Lean and Green Posted November 17, 2008 Share Posted November 17, 2008 Rxcellent to have you hear; swonderful to hear of what you're doing this upcoming year; start a blog, ask away, etc, etc. Restricting calories is the main thing with any leaning out phase, especially a bbing comp one whee you want to get really lean.
