lobsteriffic
He's starting to get a little bit better today...still mostly in bed. The first 3 days were pretty brutal...wow. Weekend sucked workout-wise...between bed-ridden husband, volunteer orientation at cat shelter, and running errands, didn't get time to get to the gym. chewybaws
That's a nice looking workout! Do you ever try replacing pulldowns with pull-ups (with a resistance band)? At least it looks like you're eating more these days
lobsteriffic
Thanks MalcKiera! Chewy - My gym doesn't have the bands for pull-ups (actually they don't even have a pull-up bar). I do negative chin-ups once a week, as they have that and I can just jump to the top. My goal is to do 1 unassisted chin-up by the end of the year! MaryStella
running some 800meter repeats about 30 secs faster that your goal pace will help you reach that goal!
lobsteriffic
I'll give that a try. How much rest between the repeats do you figure? Saturday, February 13th: Spin class cancelled today. Sucks. Couldn't stomach the thought of the stationary bike. Instead I went to two bike shops to price out a roadie. One wasn't so helpful, the other one doesn't have one that would fit me in my price range, but he gave me the 2010 Cannondale catalogue and said he could order something in. There are two other shops in town, I'm going to go check those out next Saturday. MaryStella
Ideally I would say about 90 second to 2 minutes and about 4 to 5 repeats. So I looked through Tal Ronnen's cookbook yesterday and I think you would really like it. There are some really nice looking recipes in there. Lots for me to try. I'm doing a few today. But a good portion of the recipes are time consuming ones.
