Before and after both look terrific, but you can really tell in the after that you've built some impressive muscle on the arms. Great job!

When I want to lose fat and keep muscle, I add cardio and reduce weight training. Try to aim for a maintenance schedule for lifting, maybe 2 days per week with an upper/lower split or 3 days with push/pull/legs. Whatever works for you and feels comfortable. Then add cardio after or between workouts. I like to do HIIT after weights and running on off days, up to 3 times a week.

You'll find different recommendations from different people, though. Some can lose fat by intensifying the weights and ignoring cardio-specific workouts. It's about finding what works for you.

Diet is the same way. I get results when I drop my fat intake way, way down, about 5% on a caloric basis. I try to fill as much of the rest as possible with protein and veggies, then just enough carbs to keep my energy up. Others have great results losing fat by dropping carbs way down and upping fat. I'd have no energy, but it works for them.

There are some terrific, competition-class women who frequent this forum, so be on the lookout for posts from VeggiePrincess, DV, and SeaSiren.

Beautiful pics. I am a new vegan. I think my diet is going similar to what yours is. I love almonds and they fill me up when I have cravings. I have to find a tasty protein powder that does not have soy. I think I am allergic.

You look very healthy. Thanks for sharing
