Favorite bodybuilding foods of all time

Do you have favorite bodybuilding foods of all time?

 

You know, like bodybuilders always credit their fish, chicken, egg whites, oats, rice, and broccoli.....

 

I get the question a lot as a "vegan" bodybuilder....I'll share some of mine that are my favorites as a Bodybuilder...feel free to list your own favs.

 

When it comes to bodybuilding, foods I love to rely on:

 

Quinoa

Brown Rice

Yams

Tofu

Greens

Protein Powders

Rice cakes

Omega 3 and 6 Oil

Oranges (I need to have at least one piece of fruit a day to remind me I'm human, Oranges work best for me)

Chocolate

Beans

Tempeh

Kale

Almonds

Walnuts

 

When I'm "Preparing for contest" I really only eat like 5 or 6 of those foods listed in the entire day...that is just how it is for me.

 

Anyway, excited to see others' lists!

I'm already getting ideas!

 

I can't wait to use my new found enthusiasm for bodybuilding with proper eating after my contests are over. I got in the 190's during contest prep/cutting just because I was working so hard and so consistently.

 

After a couple of contests coming up, I look forward to eating like a champ!

...and started taking creatine

 

Whole grains

Potatoes

Legumes

Vegetables

Fruits

Nuts and seeds

TVP

Protein powders

 

And then of course flavour enhancers like vinegar, spices etc

i don't body build, but these are my favorite foods to eat while training and pretty much all the time.

 

-oatmeal

-vega smoothies

-marijuana muscle

-cliff bars

-vegetable tortilla wraps

-PB&J sandwiches

-beans

-brown rice

-chips with mango salsa

-hemp milk

-FRUIT (blueberries, mangos, apples, bananas, pineapple, pawpaw (only had it once but im hooked), watermelon and grapes

VEGETABLES (i go by color and just aim for a full spectrum)

-burritos =]

Breakfast foods:

banana

raisins

oatmeal

 

Snacks:

red grapes

blood oranges

avocado

grape leaf wraps(FTW)

baked beans

 

Lunch

fired tofu

eggplant

fried green tomatoes

Collard Greens(without the salt)

burritos(bean)

Amy's cheeseless pizza

 

 

... you know what RC, Im not gonna name everything cause its torturing me just typing all I want....
