The club I'm at is fairly small, maybe 40 members. The thing about the place is that you have to compete in order to train there, which is actually nice, because now I don't have to bother with douchebags curling in the squat rack or people telling me not to squat below parallel 40 members is small in denmark? That's bigger than all clubs in sweden. I no little about danish weightlifting, are there any international level lifters? The club recently got fused with a PL club, so that's why we got so many members I'd say we're about 10 active WLers, the rest are PLers. Denmark haven't had any international level lifters for a loooong time, I think the last great lifter we had was Niels Petersen who won 1st in the 1949 European Championships Unlimited class. My coach is really impressed with my technique and strength Also, he nicknamed me Bomben (The bomb) because apparently I'm explosive as fuck. My coach is of the philosophy, that whirling a stick or bar around isn't going to give you a feel of the lift, so we add weight slowly until flaws start to emerge, and then stay there till it's corrected Tuesday 01/06-10 Another clean day!
