Vegan Joe
Welcome!Just like to say a good start might be more fresh fruits and vegetables as they are less calorie dense, then most processed foods.Hope you find what you're looking for and hangout, and enjoy the knowledge that many have on this site. lobsteriffic
Hi There! Remember to keep it simple. Eat more fruits and vegetables and less refined carbohydrates. Things like beans, lentils and tofu are good.
dropSoul
I lost 60lbs. I wrote what I did here: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/1997766/motivation_and_inspiration_for_weight.html and http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2068091/my_top_10_ultimate_fat_burning_tips.html More veggies, more beans, lay off the sugar treats but once a day. Read what CandyFlip did in the before and after section. Tonight's dinner 1 can of washed chickpeas, 4 cups of greens, 2 tablespoons light balsamic dressing (Newman's Own), 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast. That is a lot of protein, fiber, and greens. I also use black eyed peas and others. Here's a recipe here for lentil burgers, loads of protein, fiber, nutrition: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2015608/southwest_lentil_burger_zippy_zero.html
Im Your Man
Hi and welcome to the forum !Hope you reach your goals for weight-loss; this forum is ideal for this and for goals in general. Follow the diet advices written above and also change your lifestyle so that you are always busy with creative activities, spending time doing what you like, find new passions, spend time outside, lots of sunshine, lots of sleep and rest, read books, take care of yourself and invest time in learning more about yourself with spiritual activites such as meditation or yoga. I lost a lot of weight then gained it back because my life was still crazy and I did not learn how to manage my diet. Now I am losing it the healthy way. I have gotten tons of good advice on here.
