Hey all! From Australia need some help first time vegan

Hey all. Hows it going?

names Alan. From Australia.

Play and build custom drums, electrician, catholic.

Turned Vegan last night...been a long time coming thing. Decided enough was enough and

here i am .

 

Been bodybuilding on/off couple of years never really took in seriously until couple months ago.

Currently cutting (was on a keto (full of meat diet)) had enough now needing help

on food that are great for cutting being a vegan.

 

right now im in a corner with fruit and veggies lol even though im loving just eating them i know

ill prob deplete of energy sometime soon.

 

Also for supplements im guessing wheys out of the question what else can i replace it with.

Also, welcome to the VEGAN lifestyle!

 

As for bodybuilding, some of my favorite foods are:

 

Yams

Potatoes

Oats

Broccoli

Spinach

Brown Rice

Quinoa

 

(all pretty common bodybuilding foods for any bodybuilder....)

 

And for more protein stuff I go with:

 

Tempeh

Tofu

Almonds

Walnuts

Beans of all types

Lentils

Greens

Grains

 

 

Powders

 

Pea protein

Rice protein

Hemp protein

Spirulina

Chlorella

Soy protein

Artichoke protein

Buckwheat protein

 

etc.

 

Products

 

Vega

Sun Warrior

Nitro Fusion

etc.

 

And all the regular stuff

 

BCAA's

L-glutamine

Creatine

 

etc. all can me and are often made vegan.

 

I bulk, cut, maintain, etc. so I'm familiar with all of those phases on a vegan diet.
