I never used either but want to start to build a group of people with common interests in my area.vegan straightedge and hardcore about it. Facebook is huge, but they have greatly abused, taken unwarranted control of people's personal information. Sometimes to harmful ends. I consider Facebook to be like smoking. If you haven't started, don't. There are a few projects in development now due out in the fall to replace Facebook with something similar, but where people control how their information is used.
