compassionategirl
http://news.sympatico.msn.ca/National/#PS A poll that a major Canadian newspaper is conducting on the seal hunt. Please click on it now and vote in defense of the seals before the poll is removed. As I type this, it is showing 47% percent in favour of the seal hunt, and a lesser percentage opposed to the seal hunt. Also, please forward the link to any sympathetic friends and family with this link, and feel free to post on other sympathetic boards. crashnburn
I voted once. Would another vote.. be - ethically correct in terms of cheating? - morally correct in saving animals? Id choose this.
veggymeggy
I voted- but what is the significance of the poll? Does it have any bearing on anything?
compassionategirl
Crashnburn: You cant vote more than once from the same computer. Raz over an VF said his girlfriend tried to vote from his computer after he voted, but it wouldnt let her. VM: The poll is being conducted by a major Canadian newspaper, not a rinky site. So, it will reinforce, to the Canadian govnt, the fact that the hunt does NOT have the majority support of public opinion. Obviously it wont be enough to end the hunt, but it will send the message that majority of public opinion does not support the hunt, which of course may add to the pressure on the Cad govnt to end the hunt. ALthough to date, they have not only refused to end the hunt, they have INCREASED the number of defenseless seals that hunters are allowed to brutally butcher. Even if it wont to jack to help influence the govnt, it certainly cant hurt, to state the obvious.
Kathryn
I voted once. Would another vote.. be - ethically correct in terms of cheating? - morally correct in saving animals? Id choose this. I have a feeling some pro-hunting people may be voting numerous times.

compassionategirl
What the F***??????? We are LOSING in the polls if you could even believe it! 52% think that Canada should carry on with this massacre. Who the h** is voting in favour of this blood bath? I think that these numbers are suspicious to say the least, but it just goes to show you that this is going to be a hard campaign to win. Please please get involved and help.
