robert
Natural/Organic Product Expo Recap Last week I attended the largest Natural/Organic Product Expo in theUnited States, possibly the world; which took place in Anaheim,California. There were over 43,000 attendees and more than 3,000 exhibitors there in a truly massive Convention Center near Disneyland. There were far too many highlights for me to report, so I'll keep myrecap fairly short for easy reading. I attended the event as part of Team Vega (www.myvega.com). I am one oftheir sponsored athletes and I was working at their booth promotingtheir products. I flew in to L.A. on Thursday, and after sunbathing fora bit, met up with Professional Vegan Ironman Triathlete (formulator ofVega) Brendan Brazier. We also met up with Randy and Charles from TeamVega and headed down to Anaheim to set up for the event. The Expo started on Friday and lasted until Sunday night. During thattime I was able to meet up with lots of old friends from thevegan/fitness world and meet new friends as well. I spent most of the time working at the booth, promoting Vega andeducating others about the whole food product. When possible, I snuckaway from the booth to check out the thousands of other booths andmingle with people. I realized that I am in a few new magazines I wasn't aware of. Thereare at least 3 magazines this month that feature me, each with about150,000 copies in print. So this month alone I'm out there in nearlyhalf a million copies. So that was pretty cool to realize that. One of the highlights for me was meeting Ryan Wilson (VeganEssentials). He has been a huge inspiration for me over the past 4 years. Anotherhighlight was attending the VegNews Magazine VIP Party, along with Ryan,Brendan, others and the crew from VegNews. Of course, I can't forgetanother highlight which was meeting up with Tonya Kay (co-star in VeganFitness Built Naturally). I went out to a RAW Vegan Restaurant with heralong with Team Vega and other members of the Raw Vegan Community. I met Jay Cutler's brother Scott, hung out for a tiny bit with JulieChilds and Cathy Lefrancios (formerly Cathy Priest) and spent a lot oftime with Brendan and the people of VegNews Magazine. It was an awesome event and I look forward to attending similar eventsin the future as well as this event again next year. Here are some photos from my 5 days in sunny California. A good timewas enjoyed by all. -Robert http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo1.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo2.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo3.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo4.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo5.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo6.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo7.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo8.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo9.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo10.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo11.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo12.jpg http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c210/VeganBodybuilder/expo13.jpg I have more photos I'll try to add later on. bronco
Hey! On the Vegnews stand it has my name underneath the word 'travel'. Didn't realise that i'd become so well known...... Well I guess that means your finally getting some recognition for your world-class knowledge about a certain style of training . And since it is in connection with the word travel, I guess it means they are arranging trips to edinburhg for those who want to meet and learn from the master of d***o-training . And great pictures Robo . Oh my lord seitan, VE is huge . He really makes the expression 'barrel-chested' useful .

robert
Hey Buzz, if you hang out with me you will meet famous people I have more photos from the event I'll post later on and I'll try to resize some that are smaller and make them bigger. I don't want to cheat VeganEssentials out of his true size. He is the biggest, strongest vegan I've ever met. He and Big Ben (Vegetarian bodybuilder in my town) would make a great team. Big Ben benches over 400 pounds and is a pretty big guy too. Buzz.....write an article and I'll tell VegNews to include it since their magazine is all about you already

bronco
Its true robert doesnt look too big next to VE, but on the other hand VE is so fucking huge he allmost dwarfs himself .
robert
Yeah, I know I still have lots of growing to do. But for the record, Ryan is really big! He's a good 50 pounds heavier than Big Ben, who we all know is a Monster too. But yeah, I realize I'm pretty slim at the moment.....which worries me a little because of my upcoming contest. I will take flexing ones soon and see where I'm at. I'll post them of course for feedback. I think VE is in a league all by himself. He's just that muscular and big! Tarz
Hey, Tonya's legs made an appearance over here too.
robert
I'm a little embarrassed by my photos because I look more fitness model like than bodybuilder-like, but don't worry, on stage I will still look pretty good. I still love bodybuiding and will still compete, in fact I hope to get bigger and bigger, but right now, the fitness modeling thing is going pretty well. I'm trying to work both angles. I'll be doing more work with the Vegan Fitness Team and VeganEssentials too. There are lots of cool things going on and it was awesome to all be together in California. And yes, Tonya has nice legs, Ryan has the barrel chest and muscle everywhere, Brendan is looking sharp, and I just look like slim shady
runner
brendan relaxed at the background did not bottered himself into a pose
robert
Brendan never likes to pose. Tonya and I can't get enough of it. You can see it in our movie near the very end when we show clips of photo shoots, it was a challenge to get Brendan to do anything. He's a very quiet guy, stays away from the spotlight. Tonya and I are quite the opposite!
