davidtarrfoster and I watched it a while back. It was good, and fun to watch. I was already aware of a lot of that stuff going on because most of my friends are anti-fox and had told me about it, but it was cool to see as well.

I also suggest people check it out.

I saw it too, it's interesting but, just like fox, can be seen as one sided.

Well thats what the right wing pundits like to say. However, it is important too look at the source of certain information. i.e. A publicly funded news source such as PBS or NPR compared too a for profit news source like fox or NBC.

Is FOX really that big in the US and doesn't the public see through it?

There is a lot of good journalism and propaganda that comes from the US, both frrom the right and from the left. I download most things I see and have watched some really good US documentaries. BBC is still the best but I think PBS is pretty close.

Fox is for the Republicans and CNN and NPR are for the Dems. That is about how it goes. Unfortunately it is getting harder to sift through the crap.

If CNN is for dem's it must be for the Joe Liberman types.

CNN, MSNBC and FOX are all right slanted (although CNN is admittedly more due to ratings of shows that slam immigration than the personal idealogy of a tycoon).

Very true. All the mainstream news programs are fairly conservative and pro-business. Their business model (revenues mainly based on advertisements by businesses) dictates a bias toward status quo, nationalism and pro consumption.

On a political scale of our news media, I would place all mainstream news stations to the right, at varying degrees, national public radio somewhat un-biased and Pacifica to the left.

Actually, people placing CNN etc. to the left, shows how far-right the United States is.
