veganmadre
pehp! Can I use the "but I'm a girl" excuse? Didn't think so. And didn't really wanna anyway. I don't spread them out - I do them consecutively mixed in with situps during a 45 minute time frame. I'm up to 125 a day. Ummm. I'll catch up - the question is...will you be waiting??? Richard
In the Arnold Schwarzenegger book that I have entitled "The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding" he says: "Why unt derr any progrems specifically developed for veeeeemen (women) in dis encyclopedia? Da primary reason is vat der foondamentals off muscle training unt diet programs are essentially da same fer bove sexes." So there's no sexism in bodybuilding But he also said "I need jor clothes, jor boots and jor motorcycle" So I dunno what to believe

willpeavy
I did 600 pushups today. This beats my old personal best by 100 reps, but puts me 400 reps short of Daywalkers showing, and 45,401 short of the 24 hour world record

Richard
non-stop: 10,507; Minoru Yoshida (JAP), Oct 1980 what is mean't by 'non-stop'? I mean, if it's literally non-stop... that's intense. Also the one-armed push-ups. Can they switch arms? Say do 50 on the right arm, then do 50 on the left etc? Thanks for the numbers man, they kick my ass
veganmadre
It's 8:30am here and I completed 150 pushups in 35 minutes. How's that for "bringing it", Robert? Ha. Forget "Bringing It", "It's already been Brought"!

robert
Hey Vegan Momma, Awesome job with the 300 push-ups! You look pretty awesome, and your legs look great too. Do you do a lot of cardio? I remember the close ups of your calves a while back and they were pretty awesome. What kind of leg training do you do? Again, congrats on the 300 push-ups, that is powerful! That reminds me, I need to do some now -Robert
veganmadre
Thanks Robert! I just may be your vegan fitness model for 2006 if I keep my butt in gear! I've been easing on cardio and increasing weight training during the past month since joining the site. Previously, I was doing cardio at least 6 days a week - consisting of walking 4 miles with leg weights each day. That's all the leg training I did/do. But, it's been enough . Problem area pre-kids and ESPECIALLY post-pregnancy is the midsection. But, I'm burning it. Slowly.
